It maps the precise skills your sector demands, builds them through work-integrated learning, tracks your growth term by term, and certifies the result, so your degree arrives alongside a living, verified record of job-ready competence.

Skillnet sits at the heart of our SEEL Framework, threading Skilling through every stage of Education, Employment and Livelihood. Because our degrees are apprenticeship-embedded and built on the "Learn While You Earn" model, you don't acquire skills in a lecture and hope to apply them later. You earn them on the job, with more than 800 industry partners, and Skillnet captures that evidence as you go.

Aligned to the frameworks employers and regulators trust

Every competency in Skillnet is mapped to the relevant Sector Skill Councils and benchmarked to the National Credit Framework (NCrF). This alignment matters: it means the skills you build are nationally recognised currency, portable across employers, regions and further study. As a UGC Section 2(f) recognised university, Orchid issues credentials that carry weight, and Skillnet ensures every skill credit is traceable to a recognised standard rather than an internal label only Orchid understands.
