Grievance Redressal

Fair, formal resolution through UGC-compliant committees.

Formal, UGC-compliant grievance committees ensure every student concern is examined impartially, confidentially, and with due process.

Orchid University campus

Orchid University maintains a structured grievance redressal mechanism that meets the requirements set by the University Grants Commission. It guarantees that every student grievance is examined impartially, confidentially, and through fair process, in keeping with our promise to put students first and act with integrity always.

The mechanism covers grievances relating to admissions, academics, examinations and evaluation, fees and refunds, financial aid, facilities, and any unfair treatment, as well as matters handled by statutory bodies such as the Internal Complaints Committee and the Anti-Ragging Committee. Each is constituted and operated in line with UGC regulations.

How redressal works

  • Submit your grievance in writing with relevant details and any evidence.
  • Receive an acknowledgement and, where needed, referral to the appropriate committee.
  • Have your case heard fairly, with an opportunity to present your side.
  • Receive a reasoned outcome within a defined, published timeframe.
