The Code protects the trust that makes a university work. It sets clear, fair expectations for how students treat one another, their teachers, and the campus. Grounded in Student First, Integrity Always, and Compassion Centered, it applies to everyone equally.
We expect respect free from harassment, and honesty in all coursework, examinations, and research. We expect responsible use of facilities, residences, and digital systems. And we expect care for the environment and compliance with University regulations and the law.
The Code is enforced through transparent processes consistent with UGC norms and natural justice. Students are heard and due process is followed. Outcomes aim to be educative as well as corrective, so people learn rather than simply face penalty.
