The central authority for all assessment and certification at Orchid University. The Examination Cell manages schedules, conduct of examinations, results, transcripts, re-evaluation and degree certification in line with UGC norms.
The Examination Cell, headed by the Controller of Examinations, is the central authority responsible for the integrity, fairness and efficiency of all assessment and certification at Orchid University. It governs the complete examination lifecycle — from scheduling and conduct through evaluation, results and the issue of academic records — in strict alignment with University Grants Commission (UGC) norms and the University's statutes.

- Preparation and notification of examination schedules and date sheets
- Conduct of internal assessments and end-semester examinations
- Evaluation, moderation and timely declaration of results
- Issue of grade cards, mark sheets, transcripts and degree certificates
- Re-evaluation, re-totalling and grievance redressal
- Maintenance of confidential and tamper-proof examination records
