Official Communication
How to tell a genuine message from Orchid University, and what to do if you receive a fake one.

orchiduniversity.ac.in is the only official website of Orchid University, and the only domain we use for email. Every genuine message from us ends in @orchiduniversity.ac.in.
Any admission offer, fee demand, scholarship notice, appointment letter or job offer that reaches you from a different domain or website is not from Orchid University, whatever it may claim, and whatever logos or signatures it carries.
What we will never do
- Ask you to pay fees into a personal or individual bank account, a UPI ID belonging to an individual, or a wallet. University payments are made only through the official channels confirmed in writing by our admissions office.
- Charge a fee to process an application, release a result, or secure a seat outside the published fee structure.
- Ask for your password, OTP or banking credentials, by email, phone or message.
- Offer admission or employment through agents demanding cash commissions on our behalf.

How to check a message before you trust it
- Read the full address, not the display name. A sender can call themselves "Orchid University Admissions" while writing from any mailbox. Expand the address and check that it ends in @orchiduniversity.ac.in — not a lookalike such as orchid-university.com, orchiduniversity.in, orchiduniversity.org or a free webmail address.
- Check the link before you click. Hold your finger on a link, or hover over it, to see where it really goes. Our pages always sit under https://orchiduniversity.ac.in/.
- Treat urgency as a warning sign. "Seats closing tonight" and "pay within the hour" are pressure tactics. A genuine deadline from us is published on this website.
- When in doubt, ask us first. Forward the message to studentsupport@orchiduniversity.ac.in and wait for our reply before acting on it.
If you have already paid someone
Tell us at once at studentsupport@orchiduniversity.ac.in or on 1800 309 9996, with the message and the payment details. Also report it to your bank immediately, and to the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal at cybercrime.gov.in or on the helpline 1930. The sooner a fraudulent transfer is reported, the better the chance of stopping it.
Verify anything you are unsure of
If a letter, website, social media account or person claims to represent Orchid University and you are not certain, write to studentsupport@orchiduniversity.ac.in. We would far rather answer a question than see a student or parent lose money.
